The OU has established RfP partnerships with 36 HEI to enable colleagues to develop their student teachers’ subject knowledge and pedagogic practice in order to enrich their efficacy as educators.

Partners commit to and are supported in sharing RfP research and profiling the habit of reading in their settings, both for their students teachers and to enable these novice teachers to nurture younger people as readers.
Partners are invited to bespoke events and offered a range of support designed to review, develop and celebrate student RfP expertise, the leadership skills of subject specialists and widen their RfP community.
The Gold Star Student Teacher Award

These Annual RfP Awards celebrate student teachers’ rich RfP knowledge and/or practice as shown through their Examples of Practice, underpinned by the research, and uploaded to the website. The Awards showcase the work of the students and their HEI teaching teams.
