We focused on book talk and reading recommendations, sharing tips and examples, whilst also making time so participants could chat about their work on their individual examples of practice.
We were delighted to welcome Jennifer Horan, Chair of Judges for the Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medals 2022, along to talk to us about this year’s shortlist.
As a group we also shared some examples of our favourite poetry and rich non-fiction texts for children and young adults, meaning we all went away with items to add to our ever-growing book buying lists!
