Winners of the 2021 Booknics

After a busy summer of ‘Booknic’-ing (picnicking with books), we received some wonderful photos of children and staff alike enjoying some dedicated al fresco reading time. There were so many brilliantly creative ways you chose to host your Booknics and we were impressed with all of them, so a huge well done to all that took part!

We hope the initiative inspired you and your pupils to enjoy a variety of books in different settings, and that you will continue to share your love of reading.

The winners of this year’s Booknics are:

  • Carclaze Primary School, St Austell, Cornwall
  • Grasmere Academy, Killingworth, Newcastle Upon Tyne
  • The Rofft School, Wrexham, Wales
  • Loscoe Primary School, Heanor, Derbyshire

A bundle of books is on its way to you!
