Summer Reading Challenge

Inspiring 'mischief makers' in the 2018 Summer Reading Challenge

Run by The Reading Agency 1999, in partnership with the library sector, the Summer Reading Challenge encourages children to read at least six library books over the holidays for fun, which has been shown to keep up their reading skills and confidence during the break from school and help prevent the summer “reading dip”. The Summer Reading Challenge in libraries started in 1999, and 2018 is the 20th Challenge.
