Reading Groups support Mozambique library

'Baffle' for ActionAid Library Palmeira, Mozambique

Teachers Reading Groups are helping ActionAid to raise funds for a new library for the 1500 children and young people in Palmeira, Mozambique.

Hannah Wilson, English teacher and Executive Headteacher, is fundraising for the library and publicising the project through our Teachers as Readers Groups. Participating groups are organising a Book raffle or ‘Baffle’ in their groups by using printable RfP Baffle tickets which are then sold for £1 each. Authors have been very generous with signed books for the Baffle winners in our Teachers’ Reading Groups.

You could get involved too – maybe your school is looking to support a reading-based charity for your summer fundraising and can upload any funds raised at Hannah's justgiving page.

You can read more about Hannah’s project on her blog.
